⭐ WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, orders, supply, and installation services provided by Mansfield Shutters Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”).

By accepting our quotation or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Quotations & Estimates

2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Quotations are based on information and measurements provided during the survey.
2.3 Any changes requested after acceptance may affect the final price.
2.4 Prices include supply and installation unless clearly stated otherwise.

3. Orders & Deposits

3.1 A deposit is required to confirm an order.
3.2 Orders will not be placed with manufacturers until the deposit has been received.
3.3 All shutters are made-to-measure and manufactured specifically for your order.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

4.1 Due to the bespoke nature of our products, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once manufacturing has commenced.
4.2 Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
4.3 Deposits are non-refundable once production begins.

5. Manufacture & Lead Times

5.1 Lead times are estimates and may vary depending on the product range and manufacturer.
5.2 We will keep you informed of any significant delays outside our control.
5.3 Delays caused by manufacturers, shipping, or external factors do not entitle the customer to compensation.

6. Installation

6.1 Installation will be scheduled once the shutters are ready.
6.2 The installation date may be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances.
6.3 Customers must ensure clear access to the installation areas on the agreed date.
6.4 Additional charges may apply if access is restricted or installation cannot be completed.

7. Customer Responsibilities

7.1 Ensure measurements and specifications are agreed during the survey.
7.2 Notify us of any known structural issues prior to installation.
7.3 Pets should be secured away from work areas for safety.
7.4 Remove fragile items from the installation area.

8. Payment Terms

8.1 The balance payment is due upon completion of installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8.2 Payment methods will be confirmed at the time of ordering.
8.3 Late payments may delay completion or aftercare services.

9. Defects, Snagging & Acceptance

9.1 Customers must inspect shutters upon installation completion.
9.2 Any defects or issues must be reported within 7 days of installation.
9.3 Minor adjustments may be required as shutters settle; these are included where reasonable.

10. Warranty & Guarantees

10.1 All shutters are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, subject to product range.
10.2 Our installation workmanship guarantee covers fitting-related issues.
10.3 The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or alterations by third parties.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 Mansfield Shutters Ltd will not be held liable for indirect or consequential loss.
11.2 Our liability is limited to the value of the goods and services supplied.
11.3 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

12. Health & Safety

12.1 We comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
12.2 Customers must provide a safe working environment.
12.3 We reserve the right to refuse or delay work if safety is compromised.

13. Photographs & Marketing

13.1 We may take photographs of completed installations for marketing purposes.
13.2 No personal data or identifying information will be shared.
13.3 Customers may request in writing if they do not wish their installation to be photographed.

14. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, or supplier delays.

15. Complaints Procedure

15.1 We aim to resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
15.2 Complaints should be submitted in writing via email or post.
15.3 We will acknowledge complaints and aim to respond within 7 working days.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

17. Amendments

Mansfield Shutters Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of order shall apply.
